The political scene in Andhra Pradesh is set to change dramatically with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi planning to launch his political party in August, a close aide said here Saturday. The actor’s brother-in-law and filmmaker Allu Arvind told newsmen here that Chiranjeevi is likely to launch his party Aug 22, his birthday. Arvind made the statement during a rally by Chiranjeevi National Trade Union Congress (CNTUC), a trade union in the actor’s name. The rally was organised to appeal to the actor to join politics. When the rally reached Geeta Arts office in up market Jubilee Hills, Allu Arvind came out to make the statement. ‘Responding to appeals from different sections of the community, I am sure, he will definitely enter politics. He has taken a firm and clear decision and he will personally make an announcement,’ he said. This is the clearest ever statement from Arvind, a close confidante of Chiranjeevi, since speculations on the actor’s plunge into politics began a few months ago. ‘Some people are asking why he is taking such a long time. Politics is too big an issue and he is taking a reasonable time. He doesn’t take hasty decisions. He thinks and takes a correct decision,’ said Arvind. ‘We thank you. It is not just the trade union but the students, women, IT professional, lawyers and doctors all want him to come to politics,’ he said. Sources close to the actor said the party would be called Labour Party and its symbol would be a train. ‘We are at a railway platform. We are waiting for a train that will take us to the right destination,’ Arvind had said in January. ‘When will your train arrive,’ a scribe had asked Chiranjeevi Thursday after he cast his vote in the by-elections. ‘Allu Arvind is taking care of the train issue. Address your queries to him,’ the actor had replied. It was in November last year that one of his close aides claimed that he had decided to launch a party. The speculations led to his fans holding meetings in different parts of the state to urge him to make an early announcement. Chiranjeevi, however, came out with a statement a few days later appealing to his fans to remain patient till he made an announcement. Continuing the suspense, the actor had said in January that he needed more time to take a decision. People are drawing a parallel with thespian N.T. Rama Rao’s political entry in 1982. He had come to power within nine months of launching Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Chiru, as Chiranjeevi is popularly known, has dominated the Telugu film industry for over two decades. One of the highest paid actors in India, Chiru has massive fan following across the state. |
Chiranjeevi really proved that “Money Makes Many Things” but not same will work in democratic country like India. He always send his close aid in all meetings because he don;t have either public facing courage, after his daughter elope and pavan kalyani case. If you notice all the meetings which were doing by his secretary or aid Mishra with all trade unions (students,lawyers, trade unions, software professional etc etc) is simply clear that he is asking some one to become CM on behalf of him…HE HE HE… Or he will put some secretary to do the CM ruling.. If he has such a dare then why not facing the public
is it money power? or no face value after his daughter elope? orother reasons? People in AP are not such fools these days as same as NTR time. Now lot of political parties now (TDP,CONG,TRS,CPI,CPM,BJP,MANPARTY,LOKSATA AND THEN NEW UPCOMING DEVENDAR GOUD PARTY) how come this fellow aiming to become CM, even he doesnot have any face value to face the public in these meeting….

i like chiranjeevi. i have completed engg and because there is a one reason that is one day my brother had very problem with dengu and we joined in the yashooda hospital and there no packeg of plasma ie in blood there are red blood cells and lecosites and at the same time plasma are also there and there are rare and we told to hospital that we will give money which u want but they can not allot the plasma and we are new to hyd and we have gone to all clinics but there was not at the last time i went to chiru blood bank and they was swamy naidu garu which they prepare at that time and gave us at the same time i also see another person taking blood very urgent .he is talking with no cost because he got the white card ration thats it i want to tell this to every person who will not no about chiru blood bank ok me sudheer from guntur .”be vote for chiru” its my word . bye.

Chiranjivi is aGreat actor.His popularity is no math at present tollywood. He is welcom to telugu politial scene. he is going to be a chief Minister of A.P.
His political presentation bebore people of A.P is not up to the mark.i am fan of Chiru dissopointed, He was projected others taking advantage. please rectify His place in ap politics in right manner.I hope things are better in short period God may give him full stregth. asaiah.
People who dont know what chiranjeevi is, keep talking like that just by following the news.They fail to understand why he he had stayed back without facing the public.He wants to know the problems and the troubles faced by the people.If he goes there would be too much of media attention and people would mob him and the purpose would go waste.Instead he has sent his most trusted people so that he can get to know the pulse.
Anywhich ways, AP politics would be having a better future as Chiranjeevi is definitely going to make a mark and would do a lot for the State. One thing is clear, he already has a lot of fame and money and need not enter politics for that. He is a gem of a person, and instead of criticising him,lend your support and you will not repent over your decision
